An Ordinance Authorizing A Special Appropriation
From the General Fund
~nEREAS, heretofore on the /~ day of ~[/~'~y, 1965,
at a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the City Hall of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the .~........day of ....../~t~ ,
1965, at ~ ~ o~clock, P.M., at the City Hall in said City
as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council
for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency
exists for the passage of an Ordinance making appropriation
from the General Fund Of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of $5070.00 for the purpose sRted;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
· Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the General' Fund of the City of Jeffersonville
the sum of $5070.00 for the purpose of one (1) year's lease
rental of a one thousand gal. per minute pumper fire truck for
the Fire Department.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Boamd of Tax Commissioners.
