AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana:
That the following described territory be, and the same
hereby is, annexed to and determined to be a part of said city:
Beginning at a point, said point being the north and
east corner of the right-of-way of Tranquil Drive, at
the present City Limits of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Thence with the present City Limits of Jeffersonville,
Indiana and the common property line of Northaven Sub-
division, N. 40°-O0-W. 354.50 feet to a corner stone
marked 'tJ.T.J.S?; thence with the common property line
of Charles J. Ruck, N. 50°-00-E. 1089.00 feet to a stone
marked ~'I.T.J.S.X?; thence with the common property
line to John T. Hurt, S. 40°-00-E., 697.95 feet to a
corner stone marked "T.M.V.X."; thence S. 50~-00-W 1089.00
feet to a limestone monument in the present City Limits
of Jeffersonville, Indiana; thence N. 40o-00-W., 343.45
feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 17.45 acres
more or less.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the territory above described
and annexed be, and the same hereby is, R-1 as such classification
is described in Ordinance No. /6~.$~.. /.~q
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Common Council.
