From the Parks Department Special Non-Reverting
Fund and From the General Fund of the Civil City.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 3rd day of October, 1966, at
a regular meeting of the Cormuon Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the Court House of said Ci~, the Common Council
passed a resolution fixing the 7th..day of November, 1966, at
7:30 o'clock, P.M., at the Court House in said City as the time
and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose
of considering and determining whether an emergency exists for
the passage of an Ordinance making an appropriation from the
Parks Department Special Non-Revering Fund and from the General
Fund of the Civil City,
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of $10,000.00 for fl~ purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFOKE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TNE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the Parks Department Special Non-Reverting
Fund and from the General Fund of the Civil City the sum of
$10,000.00 for the following:
The appropriation of the sum of $6,000.00 from the
Parks Department Special Non-Reverting Fund for the payment
of land on Reed's Lane.
Also the appropriation of the sum of $4,000.00 from the
General Fund of the Civil City to the Parks Department
Special Non-Reverting Fund for the purchase of land from
the New York Central Railraod.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
