An Ordinance Authorizing A Special Appropriation From the Parks Department General Fund
WHEREAS, heretofore on the ~~L~% day of June, 1966, at
a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the Court House of said City, the
Common Council passed a resolution fixing the ~t~ day of
July, 1966, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., at the Court House in said
City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common
Council for the purpose of considering and determining whether
an emergency exists for the passage of an Ordinance making
an appropriation from the Pa~rks Department General Fund,
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in thenmnner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of $5,200.00 for the purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffe£sonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the Parks Department General Fund the sum
of $5,200.00 for the following:
One Tractor with sickle bar and rotary mower, $3,000.00
Emergency repair of expansion jointer at Municipal
Pool, $2,200.00.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval hy the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
