An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
From the Parks Department Capital Non-Reverting
Fund and the Parks Department Special Non-Reverting
Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 4th day of April, 1966, at
a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the Court House of said City, the
Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 2nd day of May,
1966, at 7:30 P.M., at the Court House in said City as the time
and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose
of considering and determining whether an emergency exists for~
the passage of an ordinance making an appropriatbn from the .
Parks Department Capital Non-Reverting Fund and from t~he Parks
Department Special Non-Reverting Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice~°f the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined bY the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of $1,554.00 and $8,446.00 for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the Parks Department Capital Non-Reverting
Fund the sum of $1,554.00 and from the Parks Department Special
Non-Reverting Fund the sum of $8,446.00 for the purpose of
acquiring ten acres of land.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect f~om and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
