An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
From the General Fund and Motor Vehicle Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 7th day of March, 1966, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jefferson-
ville, Indiana, held in the Court Room of the Court House of
said City, the Common Council passed a resolution fixing the
4th day of April, 1966, at 7:30 P.M., at the Court House in said
City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common
Council for the purpose of considering and determining whether
an emergency exists for the passage of an ordimmm~e making an
appropriation from the General Fund and Motor Vehicle Fund.
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
following appropriations:

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists for the special appropriations
as herein stated and there is now appropriated from the General
Fund to the Clerk-Treasurer Extra Help Salary Fund $500.00;
from the Motor Vehicle Fund to the Motor Vehicle Emergency
Salary Fund $2500.00; from the Motor Vehicle Fund to the Salt
Fund $800.00.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Ta~/Commissioners.
