Law Funds.
WHEREAS, there is now $996.04 surplus in the Penalty Fund
in the Barrett Law Funds on hand and $118.18 surplus in the
Improvement Fund in the Barrett Law Funds on hand, and
WHEREAS, said surplus funds should be transferred to the
General Fund of the City of Jeffersonville, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has heretofore been authorized
to publish a notice of the consideration of the tranSfer of
these funds, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has accordingly published
notice and fixed the time and place when this matter would be
considered by the Council, and
WHEREAS, this is the meeting for which such time was fixed
and
WHEREAS, no objections or remonstrances have been filed
against such transfer and no remonstrators or objectors have
appeared at such meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville:
Section 1.
That the following surplus sums in the Barrett Law Funds
be transferred as hereinafter set out:

TO:
General Fund
General Fund
AMOUNT
$996.04
118.18
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council this ~ day
of April, 1966.
