An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 1559
WHEREAS~ the Plan CoMmission of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has
recommended that the ~ubdivision Control Ordinance be amended,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 1559 (Subdivision Control Ordinance)
be amended as follows:
1. Article 5. Standards of Improvements, Section 6, Curbs and Gutters,
Subsection A, be amended to read: "The Commission shall require curbs and gutters
to be installed on each side of street surface in every subdivision. Where a
subdivision abuts an existing city street, curbs and gutters will be required.
along the boundary of the subdivision abutting the existing city street."
2. Article 5. Standards of Improvements, Section 7, Sidewalks, Subsection
A, be amended to read: "The Commission shall require sidewalks to be installed
on each side of the streets. Where a subdivision abuts an existing city street,
sidewalks will be required along the boundary of the subdivision abutting the
existing city street." ~
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, this 7th day of March, 1966.
