since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it
is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated
in the annual budget; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a need exists for the
purchase of land in the new Spring Hill School District for the
purpose of providing recreational facilities for the children
and adults of that area, and
W~REAS, the costs of such land is $22,000.00, and
~REAS, there is in the parks Department Non-Reverting
Capital Fund $22,000.00 with which to make such purchase,
NOW, TA~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that said Council will meet in the
Court Room in the Court House of said City on the ...9/ ...day
of ~7~/F , 1965, at 7:30 p.m., for the purpose of considering
and determining whether or not $22,000.00 should be appropriated
from the Parks Department Non-Reverting Capital Fund for the purpose
of purchasing land for recreational use in the new Spring Hill
School District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk-Treasurer give notice
of such meeting as provided by law.
