WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, has determined that it is necessary to extend the present
sanitary sewer system by the construction of sanitary sewer
interceptors; to construct the necessary pumping stations, force
mains and discharge lines to the existing sewage treatment plant,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the Board of Public
Works and Safety of Jeffersonville to make application to the
State of Indiana through the Indian~ Public Construction Planning
Program for a loan to aid in the preparation of surveys, plans,
specifications and estimates for the project above indicated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville that it hereby designates Richard L; Vissing,
Mayor of the City, as its duly authorized representative to make
application for such loan and to do such other things as may be
necessary and to execute such papers as may be necessary in order
to properly complete the application for such loan.
