after due consideration believes that it is in the best interest
of the city and the citizens thereof that the property located
at the northwest corner of Court and Spring owned by the city
and formerly used as a fire station and also that triangular
piece of land owned by the city at the northeast intersection
of Cuurt and Ohio Avenue and being a triangle formed by Court
Avenue, Ohio A~mue and Fifth Street be transferred to the Depart-
ment of Redevelopment of this city.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved that the Board of
Public Works of the City of Jeffersonville take such legal steps
as necessary to transfer such real estate and the improvements
thereon to the Department of RedeVelopment of this city.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, this / day of August, 1966.
