An Ordinance Authorizing A Special Appropriation
From the Parks Department Special Non-Reverting
Fund.
I~q_ERF~%S, heretofore on the 3rd day of April, 1967, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the Court Room of the Court House in
said City, the Common Council passed a resolution fixing the
1st day of May, 1967, at 7:30 P~M., at the Court House in said
City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common
Council for the purpose of considering and determining whe~r
an emergency exists for the passage of an Ordinance making an
appropriation from the Parks Department Special Non-Reverting
Fund, and
~HERF~S, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in then~nner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonvil!e that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of $2500.00 for the purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section !.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the Parks Department Special Non-Reverting
Fund $2500.00 for the following purposes:
Architectual planning & drawings
Hardtopping play lot
Hardtopping two tennis courts

Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax
Commissioners.
