An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
From the Motor Vehicle Fund, General Fund, Police
Department (Current Charges), and Cumulative
Capit61 Improvment Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore
a regular meeting of the
Jeffersonville, Indiana,
City, the Common Council
on the 6th day of March, 1967, at
Common Council of the City of
held in the Court House of said
passed a resolution fixing the
3rd day of April, 1967, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., at the
Court House in said City as the time and place for a meeting
of the said Common Council for the purpose of considering and
determining whether an emergency exists for the passage of
an Ordinance making an appropriation from the various funds
hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed
by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for
the appropriations hereinafter set out and for the purposes
stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and
hereby is appropriated the following:

Cumulative Capital Improvment Fund for the purpose of constructing
a new street to connect Ewing Lane, Martha Avenue, ~
and Kewanna and for the construction of a storm sewer from
Walnut Street to Pennsylvania and for the construction of a
storm sewer on Magnolia Avenue and for the construction of a
storm sewer at Kewanna Drive and for the purchase of a
tractor equipped with payloader and backhoe.
