An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property From R-1
Residential to R-2 Residential.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Coundil of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described
is reclassified and rezoned from R-1 Residential to R-2 Residential,
said property being described as follows, to-wit:
Being a part of Survey No. 3 of the Illinois Grant
bounded as follows: Beginning at a point in the center
line of East 8th Street, said point being the West
corner of the 19.96 acre tract conveyed to Alma and
Otto Brim by Deed Record 148, page 397 in the office
of the Recorder of Clark County, Indiana; thence S. 37°
21' E. 25.46 feet to the true place of beginning; thence
continuing S. 37° 21' E. 205.0 feet; thence N. 52° 30'
E. 117.42 feet to a point in the southwest line of a
50 foot street; thence along said line of street the
following three courses and distances: N. 37° 30' W.
147.93 feet; along a curve to the left N. 42° 52' W.
53.07 feet; N. 48° 14' W. 25.0 feet; thence S. 41~ 46'
W. along the southeast line of East 8th Street 109.34
feet to the true place of beginning, containing 0.574
acres, more or less.
The above descf~tion being subject to a 12 foot public
utility easement along the southwest line of the above
described tract, and also a 25 foot radius at the inter-
section of East 8th Street with the above mentioned 50
foot street.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
