WHEREAS, heretofore the Board of Public Works and the Mayor
of the City have filed an application with~the Department of
Housing and Urban Development of the United States Government
for a grant therefrom and,
WHEREAS, such application so filed is identified by
P-IND-3045 Jeffersonville, Indiana, with the Department, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville
has previously authorized the filing of such application,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by such Common Council that
the acts of the Mayor and Board of Public Works of the City
are hereby confirmed and ratified and the Mayor ~as the Chairman
of the Board of Public Works be, and he hereby is authorized
to execute for and on behalf of the City the Planning Agreement
when the same is submitted by the Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, this 4th day of December, 1967.
