WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, on the 21st day of August, 1967, enacted an ordinance approp-
riating the sum of $50,000.00 for the purpose of an advancement to the
Jeffersonville Clark County Building Authority to be used for preliminary
cost in connection with the cost of the City County Building and,
WHEREAS, such sum was obtained by borrowing said amount by the
issuance of a Time Warrant, upon which the Clark County State Bank of
Jeffersonville, Indiana was the low bidder and,
WHERF~S, such Time Warrant is payable on the 28th day of Dec-
ember, 1967 and,
WHEREAS, said Building Authority will be unable to sell its bonds
to raise funds with which to repay such advance prior to said date,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council that the
date of repayment of such Time Warrant be extended and advanced 90
days from the due~date thereof and that the Mayor and the Clerk-
Treasurer of the City be, and they hereby are authorized and directed
to take such action as may be necessary to extend the time for such
payment.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, this 4th day of December, 1967.
