WHEREAS, the United States by and through the United States
Department of the Interior and ~he Federal Water Pollution Control
Administration has submitted to the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana,
an offer of a Federal Grant for sewage treatment works under
Section 33 USC Et Seq. for a total sum of $1,697,300.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville, ~ndiana, that said grant be accepted
and that the City will comply with the assurances set out in
Section II of the Offer and Acceptance, and that Richard L. vissing,
Mayor of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, be, and he hereby
is, authorized to execute such acceptance on behalf of the city
and to do any and all other acts as may be required to affect
such offer and acceptance.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, this 16th day of December, 1968. ~
