: WHEREAS, The City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, is in the process o up-
grading the City by means of a Workable Program for Community-Improvement,
and
~HEREAS, the purpose and intent of this program shall be tO enbance.apd~
promote the orderly internal and external growth of our
~HEREAS, this shall be accomplished by elimination of blight and through
periodic and systematic review of the program so as to prevent the Workable
P~am from falling into a state of obsolescence,
· NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, NDIANA, that we, the Common Council of
viile, Indiana, pledge ourselves with a firm and steadfast
perform the Workable Program as adooted, and to tend ou~
bettermen~of th[s~community through the use of said program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL THIS DAY OF MARCH
This form is designed to elicit from the community the information needed to determine whether
it has a Workable Program meeting the requirements of Section 101(c) of the Housing Act of 1949.
as amended. The Program Guides. and related written material, should be used in preparing the
form. These give the specific requirements that must be met to qualify for Program recertification
as well as policy guidance. All questions on the form must be answered or adequate explanations
given. Additional pages should be attached where needed to permit a full presentation of the local
Program. Submit an orginal and three copies to the Regional Office. Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
