the Police Department and Park and Recreations
Department.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 7th day of October, 1968, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the Court Room of the Court House of said City,
the Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 4th day of
November, 1968, at 7:30 P.M., at the Court House in said City as
the time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for
the purpose of considering and determining whet~er an emergency
exists for the passage of an ordinance transferring certain funds
within various dePartments, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law~
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Common Council that an
emergency exists for the transfer and appropriation of specified
sums as set out in said notice and as hereinafter set out;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:

That an emergency exists and the following transfers of funds
and appropriations is and are hereby made and ordered:
