Appropriation from the General Fund
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 5th day of August, 1968, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the~City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the Court Room of the Court House of said City, the
Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 26th day of August,1968,
at 7:30 P.M. at the Court House in said City as the time and place for
a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of considering
and determining whether an emergency exists for the passage of an
ordinance making an appropriation from the General Fund.
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appropriation
hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City
of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:
A special appropriation in the amount of $2500.33 from
the General Fund to %723 Sanitation Equipment Fund.
Section' ~2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
