An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
from the Parks Department Park General Fund and
Special Non-Reverting Fund
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 1st day of July, 1968, at a regular
meeting of the 'Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana,
held in the Court Room of the Court House of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the 5th day of August, 1968, at
7:30 P.M.~ at the Court House in said City as the time and place for
a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of considering
and determining whether an emergency exists for the passage of an
ordinance making an appropriation from the various funds hereinafter
set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, it having bee~ determined by the Common Council of the
City of jeffersonville that an emeregency exists for the appropriations
hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City
of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:

From SpeCial Non-Reverting Fund the sum of $1,500.00 for land
appraisals.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
