3EFFERSONVILLE-C LARK COUNT Y BUILDING AUTHORITY.
THE CITY OF 3EFFERSONVlLLE AND CLARK COUNTY
WHEREAS, this Common Council have previously examined and approved
a form of Lease proposed by /effersonville-Clark County Building Authority
of a City-County Building; and
WHEREAS, notice of public hearing on the proposed Lease before this
Cornrnon Council was duly given by the required legal publication of notice,
and said hearing has been held in accordance with said notice and the govern-
lng statute;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COIvIMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 3EFFER-
SONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1. The drawings, plans, specifications and estimates of costs
of the City-County Building are hereby approved, and the Clerk-Treasurer
is hereby authorized and directed to endorse the approval of this Cornnaon
Council upon such drawings, plans, specifications and estimates.
Section 2. The Common Council finds and determines that the execution
of the proposed Lease of the City-County Building, a copy of which Lease ~s
attached to this resolution and marked "Exhibit A," and made a part hereof,
is necessary to provide proper governmental offices for the City and that
the basis for the determination of the lease rental, as set forth in said Lease,
is fair and reasonable.
Section 3. The Mayor of the City of 3effersonville is hereby authorized
to execute said City-County Building Lease, and the Clerk-Treasurer ~s
hereby authorized and directed to affix the corporate seal of the City of
Jeffersonville to said Lease and to attest the same.
Section 4, The Clerk-Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to
publish notice of the execution of said City-County Building Lease as required
by law.
Section 5, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage and signing by the Mayor.
