An Ordinance Authorizing A Special Appropriation
From the Parks Department - Capital Non-Reverting
Fund and Special Non-Reverting ~und.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 8th day of Janumry, 1968,
at a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the Court House of said City, the
Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 5th day of February,
'%968, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., at the Court House in said City
as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council
for the p~rpose of considering and determining whether an emergency
exists for the passage of an Ordinance making appropriations
from the Parks Department - Capital Non-Reverting Fund, and
the Parks Department Special Non-Reverting Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
~THEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation of the sums for the purposes herein stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:

That an~nergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the the following:
From
Parks Department - Capital
Non-Reverting Fund
$875.00 for Expansion of hardtop surface
for construction of two tennis courts.
$500.00 Finish surface of two tennis courts
plus stripping.
$875.00 for fencing play area.
$900.00 for Renovation of electric service
on riverbank.
Parks Department Special
Non-Reverting Fund
$2,200.00 for aerial photo
$1,950.00 for automotive equipment°
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full forc~ and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
