An Ordinance Authorizing a Special Appropriation
From Parks Department Capitol Non-Reverting Fund
WHEREAS, heretofore on the ~ day of December, 1967,
at a regular meeting of the Com~non Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, h~ld in the Court House of said City, the
Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 8th day of January,
1968, at 7:30 o,:61ock, P.M., at the Court House in said City
as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council
for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency
exists for the passage of an Ordinance making an appropriation
from Parks Department Capitol Non-Reverting Fund, and
WHEREAS: the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergehcy exists for the
appropriation of $3,473.48 for the purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated from the Parks Department Capitol Non-Reverting
Fund the sum of $3,473.48 for the following purposes:
Stoves, bleachers, tables $ 975.40
Concrete 100.00
Lay out design 30.00
Safety swings 78.08
Basketball backstop 260.00
Grading, seeding 500.00
Chainlink backstop 530.00
Slide, whirl, other equipment 1000.00
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
