An Ordinance Authorizing A Special Appropriation
From the Motor Vehicle Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 5th day of May, 1969, at a regular
meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana,
held in the Court Room of the Court House of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the 2nd day of June, 1969, at
7:30 P.M., at the Court HQuse in said City as the time and place
for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of con-
sidering and determining whether an emergency exists for the passage
of an ordinance making an appropriation from the varuous funds
hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priation~hereinafter set out and for the purpose s~ted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:

That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the following:
$10,000.00 from the Motor Vehicle Fund to M.V. %723
Equipment.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall~ in full force and effeCt from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Passed this 2nd day of June, 1969. ~
