Residential to B-3, General Business
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being ordinance no. 1527, be amended
in that the property hereinafter described is reclassified and rezoned
as follows:
From R-2, Residential to B-3, General Business:
Lot No. Nine (9) in Block No. 81 in the Enlargement of the
City of Jeffersonville, except sixty (60) feet off the
west end thereof.
Also, a part of Lot No. Ten (10) in Block Number Eighty-one
(81) of the Enlargement of the City of Jeffersonville bounded
thus: Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot No. Ten
(10) on Michigan Avenue; thence with the line dividing Lots
Nos. 9 and 10 southwardly forty (40) feet to a stake; thence
at right angles southwardly three (3) feet to a stake; thence
at right angles northeastwardly forty (40) feet to Michigan
Avenue; thence with said Avenue northwestwardly three (3)
feet to the place of beginning.
Also, a part of Lot No. Nine (9) in Block No. 81 in the
Enlargement of the City of Jeffersonville, bounded thus:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot on Eighth
Street; thence with the north line thereof eastwardly 60
feet to a stake; thence at right angles southwardty across
said Lot No. Nine (9) to the south line thereof; thence at
right angles westwardly with said south line 60 feet to the
southwest corner of said lot; thence at right angles north-
wardly with the west line of said lot to the place of
beginning.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
