An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property From R-I,
Residential to B-3, General Business
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being ordinance no. 1527, be amended
in that the property hereinafter described is reclassified and rezoned
as follows:
From R-l, Residential to B-3, General Business:
~eing all of Lot No. 41 of Oaklawn Terrace, and a part of
Survey No. 10 of the Illinois Grant, described as follows:
Beginning at the North corner of Lot No. 53 of Oaklawn
Terrace Subdivision; thence Northwardly along Reed's Lane
120 feet to Roosevelt Drive; thence following the curve of
Roosevelt Drive Southwestwardly 354 feet; thence South 15°
East to a stake in the North line of Lot No. 39 of Oaklawn
Terrace; thence along the North line of Lots Nos. 39 and 40
of Oaklawn Terrace, 76.30 feet, more or less, to a stake at
the Northwest corner of Lot No. 41 of Oaklawn Terrace; thence
South, along the line dividing Lots Nos. 40 and 41 of Oaklawn
Terrace, 200 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot No. 41;
thence East along the South line of said Lot No. 41, 60 feet
to the Southeast corner of said Lot No. 41; thence Southeast-
wardly along Oaklawn Drive, 20 feet, more or less, to the
West corner of Lot No. 42 of Oaklawn Terrace; thence along
the Northwest line of Lots 42 thru 53, to the Place of
beginning.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
