An Ordinance Authorizing Additional Appropriations
from the Department of Redevelopement Non-Reverting
Fund and the Capital Improvement Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the ~ day of ~f~-~ ,
1970, at a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, held in the City-County Building in said
City, the Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 23rd day
of November, 1970, at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in
said City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common
Council for the purpose of considering and determining whether
an emergency exists for the passage of an ordinance making appro-
priations from the various funds hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priation hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:
A special appropriation from the Department of Redevelopement
Non-Rever~ing Fund to Travel and Transportation in the amount
of $1,512.32.
A special appropriation from the Department of Redevelopement
Non-Reverting Fund for ~ounsel fees in the amount of $1,112.00.
A special appropriation from the Capital Improvement Fund
for extensions of sewe~ lines in the amount of $50,000.00.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
Passed this 23rd day of November, 1970.
