AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, PARKS DEPARTMENT, FIRE
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 3~ day of August,
a special meeting of the Common Council of the City
sonville, Indiana, held in the City-County Building
1970, at
of Jeffer-
in said City,
the Common Council passed a resclution fixing the 5th day of
October, 1970, at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in
said City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common
Council for the purpose of considering and determing whether
an emergency exists for the passage of an ordinance making an
appropriation from the various funds hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been d~termined by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priation hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
