An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property From
R-I, Residential to B-3, General Business.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance No.
1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described is
reclassified and rezoned as follows:
From R-i, Residential, B-3, General Business:
Part of Illinois Grant No. 10~ begznning at a point in the
middle of the Plank Road where the dividing li~e between
G~ants Nos. 10 and 11 crosses samd Road; thence along the
center line of said Plank Road South 22° 30' West 1187 feet
to the Northeast corner of Lot No. 22 of Della Plains Farm,
as shown in Plat Book No. 4, at page 111, mn the office of
the Recorder of Clark County, Indiana, the True Place of
Beginning; thence South 22° 30' West 105 feet to a stake;
thence in a Southeastwardly direction on a line parallel
with the dividing line of Lots Nos. 22 and 23 of said Plat
650 feet to a stake; thence South 22° 30' West 100 feet to
a stake; thence in a Southeasterly direction on a line
parallel with the dividing line of Lots Nos. 22 and 23 of
said plat to the dividing line of Lots Nos. 20 and 22 of
said plat; thence in an Easterly direction along the dividing
line of Lots Nos. 20 and 22 of said Plat to the Grant Line;
between Illinois Grants Nos. 10 and 11; thence in a Westerly
direction along the dividing line between Lots Nos. 22 and 23
of said plat to the place of beginning, containing 6 acres,
more or less.
With the exception of a 200 foot strip of said property
adjomning State Road No. 62, heretofore zoned as General
Business, B-3,
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
