AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL APPRO?RIATIONS
FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 14th day of September, 1970,
at a regular meeting of the Common Coum~cil of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, held in the City-County Building mn said City,
the Co~on Council passed a resolution fixing the 5th day of
October, 1970, at 5:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in said
City as the time and place-for a meeting of the said Common Council
for the purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency
exists for the passage of an ordinance making an appropriation
from the various funds hereinafter set out, and
WH~tL~AS, The Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Co~on Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the following:

Section 2.
~5~Tordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Co~issioners.
