An Ordinance regulating parking on certain streets
in the City.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That parking on the east and west sides of Howard Avenue
and French Street between 10th Street and llth Street and
parking on the south side of llth Street from Howard Avenue
to Pratt Street shall be for two (2) hours only between the
hours of 8:00 A. M. and 4:30 P. M. on Monday through Friday.
SeCtiOn 2.
Unless anothe~ penalty is expressly provided by law,
every person receiving a citation under this ordinance shall
pay to the officer on duty at the Jeffersonville Police Head-
quarters an assessment of One Dollar ($1.00) if paid within
seventy-two (72) hours of the issuance of said citation.
If a citation under this ordinance is not paid within 72
hours of the issuance of said citation, the person so cited
upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than
One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than Ten Dollars ($10.00).
Section 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
