An Ordinance Amending Ordinances Numbered t150~
1309 and 1351, which Ordinance concerns the
Regulation of Taxicabs and Permits for the
Operation thereof in the City.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That Ordinances Numbered 1150, 1309 and 1351 is amended
in that beginning January 1, 1972, the number of ~axicab permits
authorized shall be thirty-nine (39) of which amount no more than
twenty-six (26) shall be issued to any one company.
Section 2.
Beginning October 4, 1971, until January 1, 1972, the Clerk
Treasurer is authorized to issue six (6) additional taxicab permits
over and above the thirty-seven (37) authorized and issued under
Ordinance No. 1351. These six (6) additional permits shall not be
issued to any cab company doing business
date.
Section 3.
Section 2 hereof shall be void~as of January
Section 4.
