An Ordinance Authorizing Additional Appropr_at~ons
from the Parking Meter Department and Park Department
General Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the / ~ day of ~.~ , 1971,
at a~~meeting of the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, held in the City-County Building in said
City, the Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 4th day
of October, 1971, at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in
said City as the time and place for a meeting of the said Common
Council for the purpose of considering and determining whether
an emergency exists for the passage of an ordinance making
appropriations from the various funds hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:
An appropriation from Parking Meter Department to the
Parks Department General Fund for construction of acquatic
facilities of Springhill Pool in the amount of $30,800.00.
An appropriation from the Parks Department General Fund
for acquatic facilities at Springhill Pool in the amount
of $56,368.08.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax
Commissioners ·
Passed this 4th day of October, 1971.
