An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
from the Parks Department Capital'Non-Reverting
Fund and the General Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 2nd day of August, 1971, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the 13th day of September, 1971,
at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in said City as the
time and place for a meeting of the said Common CounCil for the
purpose of considering and determining whether an ~eregency exists
for the passage of an ordinance making appropriations from the
funds hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by
law, and
WHEREAS~ it having been determined by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priations hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the following:
An appropriation from the Parks Department Capital Non-
Reverting Fund for partial payment of Springhill Park
Pool in the amount of $4,682.92.
An additional appropriation from the General Fund for
payment of medical expenses for Daniel Tyus for injuries
sustained from gunshots bY Police, in the amount of $400.00.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commi-
ssioners.
