ORDINANCE NO. ~ -
An ordinance Authorizing'Special Appropriations
From Local Road and Street AcCount~ Motor Vehicle
Fund, Sanitation Department, Parks Department Capital
Non-Reverting Fund and~ the General Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 1st day of March, 1971, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fiXing the 5th day of April, 1971,
at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in said City as the
time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the
purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency exists
for the passage of an ordinance making appropriations from the
funds hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Com/uon Council of
the City of jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priations hereinafter set out and for the purpos~ stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORD~TNED BY THE coMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and?hereby
is appropriated the following:
An additional appropriation from the Local Roa~ and Street
Account in the sum of $95,700.00 for the City's Portion of
right of way acquisition and construction of exit ramp from
1-65 to Market, Illinois and Court Streets.
Additional appropriations from Motor vehicle Fund to:
