An Ordinance Authorizing Specila Appropriations
From the General Fund, Police Department-~264
Criminal Justice and Department of Redevelopment
Non-Reverting Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 1st day of February, 1971, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the ls% day of March, 1971,
at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in said. city as the
time and place for a meeting of the said Common Councilffor the
purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency exists
for the passage of an ordinance making an appropriation from the
funds hereinafter set out, and
~EREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the .time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priations hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDIANED by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, Indiana:
Section 1.

That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
appropriated the following:

Dog Pound - Water
Telephone - City Building
Clerk Treasurer-Extra Help

Section 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax
Commissioners.
