An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property from I-l,
Light Industry to R-2, Residental.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jef-
fersonville, Indiana, that the zoning ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described
is reclassified and rezoned as follows:
From Light Industry to R-2, Residental:
Being all of Lots 6,7,8,9,10,11, a part of Lots 12
and 13, a part of a vacated alley in Block 90, a
part of vacated Eighth Street and a part of Lots 6,
7, 8, and 9 in Block 83, all in the City of Jef-
fersonville, Clark County, Indiana, and being fur-
ther described as follows: Beginning at an iron
pipe on the Southwest corner of Ninth street and
Indiana Avenue; thence S. 5° W. along the west line
of Indiana Avenue 600.50 feet to an iron pipe; thence
N. 85° W. '30.00 feet to an iron pipe; thence N. 10°
17' 25" W. 170.64 feet to an iron pipe; thence N. 5°
E. 60.00 feet to an iron pipe; thence N. 9° 01' 54"
W. 82.49 feet t9 an iron pipe; thence N. 840 55' 20"
W. 25.00 feet to an i~on pipe in the center line of
a vacated 20 foot alley, thence N. 5° E. along said
center line 296.00 feet to an iron pipe on the 20'~
southern line of Ninth Street; ~hence S. 84° 55'
E. 120.00 feet to the place of beginning, containing
55,452 square feet, more or less.
This ordinance shall be in full
after its passage and approval.
