An Ordinance Authorizing Special Appropriations
from the Redevelopment Department Non-Reverting
Fund, Sanitation Department, Sewage Department
and Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the ~x~] .day of July, 1972, at a
~ meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
son~ile, Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the
Common Council passed a resolution fixing the 7th day of August, 1972,
at 7:30 P.M., at. the City-County Building ~n said city as the time
and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose
of considering and determining whether an emergency exists for the
passage of an ordinance making an appropriation from the funds herein-
after set out, and

Section 1.
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of

That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the following:
1. An appropriation from the Redevelopment Department
NoneReverting Fund for grading and cleaning of land
between 7th Street and North to City Sewage Treatment
Plant in the amount of $1~200.00.
2. An appropriation in the amount of $20,000 from the
Saniation Department as follows: No. 111 Salaries
$5000.00; No. 261 Contract services $7000.00; No. 51
Insurance $1000.00 and No. 723 Equipment $7000.00---
Total $20,000.00, said sum appropriated to be trams-
ferred to No. 424 Bituminous.
3. An apropriation in the amount of $202,770.00 from the
operating and Maintenance Fund of the Sewage Depart-
ment with which to pay the City's share of the Mill
Creek Sewer extension projects, which project including
Federal and State grants tOtals $973,530.00. Said sum
of $202,770.00 to be tmansferred to the construction
fund of the Sewage Departme~ after appropriation.
4. An appropriation in the amount of $20,000.00 from the
Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund with which and out
of which to build and construct a new roof and floor on
and in the Fieldhouse a~ Court and Mechanic Streets.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be in full ~orce and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
