An ~dinance Authorizing a Special Appropriation
From the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 12th day of June, 1972 at a
special meeting of the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing t~e 17th day of July, 1972, at
12:00 noon, at the City-County Building in said City as the time and
place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of
considering and determining whether an emergency exists for the
passage of an ordinance making an appropriation from the Cumulative
Capital Improvement Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the
appropriation hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:

That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the following:
An appropriation from the Cumulative Capital Improvement
Fund in the amount of $79,500.00 with which and out of
which to pay for the building and construction of an
extension to the Hamburg Pike sanitary sewer line.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
