HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-OR-14ORDINANCE NO. 72-0R-14 An Ordinance Regularing Parking on Certain and Designating Four-Way Stops at Certain Streets Intersections. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City of jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana: Section 1. That from and after the effective date of this ordinance all parking is banned on Tenth Street. Section 2. That the following intersections shall be designated as four- way stop intersections and so marked and regulated: 1. Penn Street and Chestnut Street 2. Ninth Street and Howard Avenue 3. Ninth Street and Cherry Drive. Section 3. Violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance or failure to stop at any stop streets shall be punishable by fine of not less than $1.00 or more than $100.00 with the costs of court added thereto or ten days in jail or both. Section 4.' This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
