An Ordinance Authorizing A Special Appropriation
from the Motor Vehicle Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 3rd day of April, 1972, at a
~e§~lar meeting of the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution ~i~ing the 1st day of May, 1972, at
7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in said City as the time
and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose
of considering and determining whether an ~mergency exists for the
passage of an ordinance making an appropriation from the funds
hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of
the City of jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priations hereinafter set out and for the purpose stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of
the City of jeffersonville, Indiana: Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and
is appropriated the following:
An appropriation from the Motor Vehicle Fund to #262
Construction and Reconstruction (Street Department)
in the amount of $20,000.00.

by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
