A RESOLUTION, emergency in character, to effect the participation
of jeffersonville, Indiana, in the establishment of Administrative
Resources, an association of several Indiana cities; and
WHEREAS the city of Jeffersonville, Indiana in conjunction with
the several participating cities recognizes the need for such an
association to provide training and technical assistance to better
serve the needs of their citizenry; and
WHEREAS the aforesaid Cities deem it is their mutual best interest
to establish this formal association throught which the costs and bene-
fits of such training and technical assistance may be shared; and
WHEREAS the aforesaid Cities further deem it in their mutual
best interest to formalize their association by the formation of an
administrative and legal entity under and pursuant to the Interlocal
Cooperation Act of the State of Indiana,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that
Jeffersonville is authorized to sign and

forming Administrative Resources (Association) pursuant to the Authority
granted by the pertinent Acts of the State of Indiana (2nd Ann. Stat.,
Sec. 53: 1101-07) providing for cooperation between municipalties,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of jeffersonville will make
available sufficient funds to pay the annual membership dues, such
dues amounting to $1.00 for the City of jeffersonville, as its share
of the first year's operating expenses.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City
Indiana and the Clerk-Treasurer, be
