I~HEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville is desirous of purchasing for public
purposes from the Jeffersonville Department of Redevelopment a oarcel of land
containing approximately 8.2 acres located immediately south of and adjoining
the Spring Hill Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available_for said purchase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
~effersonville that said Council doep.~pprove the purchase of said land from
the jeffersonville Department of Redevelopment and the said Council does here-
by agree to appropriate the necessary funds-
ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 1973.
