An Ordinance Authorizing Additional Appropriations
from the Revenue Sharing Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 20th day of August, 1973, at a
sp~oia~ meeting of the Common County of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution vising the 1st day of October, 1973,
at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building, in ~aid city as the
time and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the
purpose of considering and determining whether an emergency exists
for the passage of an ordinance making appropriations form the
funds hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists for the appro-
priations hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there shall be and hereby
is appropriated the following:
An additional appropriation in the amount of $7,095.00
from the Revenue Sharing Fund for the following pruposes:
$4,115.00 to be applied on the cost of a Street Sweeper
and $2,980.00 to be applied on a Catch Basin Cleaner, for
the Street Department.
