An Ordinance Authorizing Special ~ppropriations
from the R~venue Sharing Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 6th day of August, 1973, at a regular
meeting of the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville, Indiana,
held in the City-County Building said City, the Common Council
passed a resolution firing the 4th day of September, 1973, at
7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building, in said City at the time
and place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose
of considering and determining whether an emergency exists for
the passage of an ordinance making appropriations from the funds
hereinafter s~t out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time,
place and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law,
and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville that an emergencY exists for the appropirations
hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an ~mergency exists and that there shall be and here6%
is appropriated the following:
A special appropriation from the R~venue Sharing Fund
in the amount of $7,000.00 for the Sewage Department !
for 1 sludge truck - POTV hoist.
A special appropriation from the Revenue Sharing E~nd
in the amount of $5,000.00 for the Sewage Department for
culvert pipe.
A special appropriation from the Revenue Sharing Fund in
the amount of $27,000.00 for the Clerk-Treasurer's Office
for an Electronic Accounting Computer.
Section 2~.
This ordinance
after its passage and approval
shall be in full force and effect from and
by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
