An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property from
B-3, General Business to I-2, Heavy Industry.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffer-
sonville, Indiana, that the Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance No.
1527, be amended in that the property hereinafter described is
reclassified and rezoned as follows:
From B-3, General Business to I-2, Heavy Industry.
Being part of Lots Nos. 5, 6 and l0 of the plat of partition
of the land of William D. Beach (Plat Book 3, page 32) in
Survey No. 8 of the Illinois Grant, Clark County, Indiana,
being a part of Bert and Dollye Eubank's 12.8 acre parcel
at Deed Record 179, pages 401 and 402, and more fully
described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a stone in
the southeasterly line of said Lot No. 5, being the most
westerly corner of Lot No. 3 of said Partition Plat, being
also the most westerly corner of Beach Fair View Subdivision
(Plat B6ok 4, page 107), running thence N. 55° 05' W. 307.37
feet with G. F. Munich's line (Deed Record 219, page 134)
to an iron pin in the easterly right-Of-way line of the
P.C.C. & St. L.R.R.; thence N. 4° 14.2' W. 363.24 feet with
said right-of-way line to a point of curve; thence a curve
to the right of radia~ 5289.0 feet whose chord bears N. 1°
27' W. 514.30 feet; thence with said right-of-way line N.
1° 20.2' E. 375.96 feet to an iron pipe in the northeasterly
line of said Lot No. 10 of Beach Partition; thence S. 37°
30' E. 946.90 feet with the northeasterly lines of said
Lots 5, 6 and 10 of Beach Partition to an iron pipe; thence
S. 26° 48' W. 554.0 feet; thence S. 55° 05' E. 70.0 feet
to an iron pipe in the southeasterly line of said Lot No. 5
of Beach Partition; thence S. 35° 21' W. 175.0 feet with
the line of Lot No. 5 to the place of beginning, containing
9.508 acres of land, subject to easements of record at
Miscellaneous Record 36, page 414, and Deed Record 197,
page 211, of the Clark County~Records.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its
passage and approval.
