An Ordinance Authorizaing Special Appropriations
from Revenue Sharing Fund and the General Fund.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 3rd day of September, 1974, at a
regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, held in the City-County Building of said City, the Common
Council passed a resolution fixing the 30th day of September, 1974,
at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in said City as the time and
place for a meeting of the ~&id Common Council for the purpose of
considering and determining whehter an emergency exists for the passage
of an ordinance making an appropriation from the funds hereinafter
set out, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has given notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville ~hat an emergency exists for the appropriations
hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section 1.
That an emergency exists and that there
appropriated the following:
shall be and hereby is
A special and additional apprporiation from Revenue Sharing
Fund in the amount of $12,000.00 for the Parks Department for
the purpose of constructing a bike trail.
A special and additional appropriation from the Revenue Sharing
Fund for the purpose of paying special co~el fees in the amount
of $10,000.00.
A special and additional appropriation in the amount of $488.17
from the General Fund for paying for expenses of the Chief of
Police at the Federal Bureau of Investigation Police Academy.
A special and addit6onal appropriation from the Revenue Sharing
Fund in the amount~o, $9,000.00 for the Police Department for
riot and emergency equipment.
Section 2.
This Ordinance shall be f~,~full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval by the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
