Residential to B-3, General Business.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville,
Indiana, that the Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1527, be amended
in that the property hereinafter described is reclassified and rezoned
as follows:
From R-2, Residential to B-3, General Business
Horlander Tract at corner of State Road 62 and
Holman Lane:
Being a part of Survey No. 22 of the Illinois Grant, and being
more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the south
corner of Survey No. 22; thence N. 40° W along the line dividing
Surveys Nos. 21 and 22 of the Illinois Grant and along the center
line of Holman Lane, 130 feet, more or less, to a point, the
True Place of Beginning; thence continuing N. 40° W. and along said
dividing line and center line 333.5 feet, more or less, to the
south corner of the 0.230 acre tract of the Civil Town of Sellersburg;
thence N. 50° E. 85 feet to a stake; thence N. 40° W. 100 feet to
a stake; thence N. 49° 46' E. 407 feet to a stake; thence S. 5° W.
100 feet to a stake; thence S. 40° E. 217.8 feet to a point on the
west right-of-way of State Highway 62; thence in a southerly direction
along the west right-of-way line of State Highway 62 400 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence in a westerly direction along said
right-of-way 160 feet, more or less, to the True Place of Beginning,
but subject to legal highways.
This .Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
