An Ordinance Authorizing ~ Special Appropirations
from Revenue Sharing.
WHEREAS, heretofore on the_~day of June,
/~) day of June, 1974, at meetings of the Common
of jeffersonville, Indiana, held in the City-County

BUilding of said City,
the Common Council passed resolutions fixing the 1st day of July, 1974,
at 7:30 P.M., at the City-County Building in said City as the time and
place for a meeting of the said Common Council for the purpose of con-
sidering and determining whether an emergency.exists for the passage
of an ordinance making appropriations from the funds hereinafter set
out, and
WHEREAS,
the Clerk-Treasurer has biven notice of the time, place
and purpose of said meeting in the manner prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, it having been determined by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville that an emergency exists
hereinafter set out and for the purposes stated:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON
for the appropriations
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA:
Section'l.
That an emergency exists and that there
COUNCIL OF THE CITY
shall be and hereby is
appropriated the following:
An additional appropriation from the Revenue Sharing Fund
for the Parks Department totaling $4,000.00 for the following:
#37 General Supplies $3,000.00
#222 gas - $1,000.00
An additional appropiration from Revenue Sharing Fund in
the amount of $34,000.00 for the purchase of real estate.
An appropriation from Revenue Sharing in the amount of
$10,400.00 with which and out of which to subsidize public
Transit system.

passage and approval by the State
